Ways to meet

I offer a free, no obligation, 30 minute assessment call to allow us to get a sense of each other, discuss what has motivated you to seek therapy, and explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
Once we have agreed to work together, sessions usually take place once a week, although fortnightly or custom schedules can be discussed and agreed upon.

My approach

My counselling approach is gentle, human, and grounded in real connection. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your inner world at your own pace, with support that feels steady, compassionate, and genuinely attuned to you.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that you already hold the wisdom you need, but that sometimes, due to circumstances or experiences, that wisdom becomes obscured and difficult to access.  I offer empathy, curiosity, and a safe relational space where your thoughts and feelings can unfold naturally. You won’t be pushed or analysed. Instead, you’ll be met with respect and warmth, and a deep trust in your capacity to grow.

Mindfulness informed exploration

Mindfulness can be a powerful way of slowing down and paying attention to what’s happening beneath the surface. When and if it’s appropriate, I invite clients to notice the subtle details of their inner experience, such as shifts in emotion, patterns of thought, bodily sensations, and moments of tension or ease. Staying present with these cues often reveals deeper stories, unmet needs, and protective strategies that shape how you feel and respond.

Why people come to me

People seek counselling with me for many reasons:

Anxiety, low mood, self-doubt, trauma, life transitions, feeling stuck/blocked, relationship difficulties, grief, or simply a desire to understand themselves more deeply.

You don’t need a clear “issue” to start. Sometimes the most meaningful work begins with a quiet sense that something inside wants attention.

Welcome

You’ve arrived here because something in your life is asking for attention. It may be a feeling that doesn’t sit right, a pattern that keeps repeating, a question, or perhaps a quiet sense that things could be different. Whatever brings you here, I’m glad you’ve found your way.

What to expect

  • A welcoming, down-to-earth atmosphere where you can show up exactly as you are.

  • Space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself

  • Support that adapts to you, not the other way around

  • A gentle pace, especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to begin

  • A collaborative process, where your voice and your needs guide the work
